A mahi mahi! Yummm....(sorry the lens was foggy going from Air Conditioned inside to hot and muggy outside)

The Talofofo Falls "Ghost House" in Guam - totally cheesy, just my style

Working on the flying bridge with the big eyes (Adam and Cornelia). There are two sets of Big Eyes (huge binoculars) and we each work 40 minutes on the left (port) side, 40 minutes as recorder in the center hanging out (Adam) and 40 minutes on starboard (right) side - then 2 hours off! The blue cooler holds our stereo with iPod hooked up, and speakers are mounted on the poles to keep us, uh, awake, while working...Red chair is for sunbathing and reading whenever...that's my usual spot...

Karaoke in Guam! It's packed with Japanese tourists, so we decided to partake, too...Cornelia and Candy - sing it ladies!

Hanging in the galley on the ship - from L-R - Cornelia, me, Jim Cotton, and Adam

Juan Carlos and Cornelia hard at work...

We've had fresh mahi mahi and ono ALOT...I love sashimi! (sorry the pic is sideways...). That's john, first mate who is the filet master...

Adam jammin out on the back deck of the ship, slide guitar style.

Tom working out at the "gym" - aka back deck, picnic table, bench, all-in-one space...next to our lab/shipping container...it's a small boat...

Tom hard at work with the acoustic array at sunset

Adam on the bike, practicing for the scheduled jam session later that night...(PS biking on a rolling ship is quite the experience, just hold on tight! It's like mtn biking without the mtn)

View of the back deck from above - awash. The grey box on the right is our "lab" also known as a shipping container. If it breaks off in a storm look for us in that thing, floating on the ocean...

Ally, the other acoustician, hard at work in the "lab"

Me, hard at work on the big eyes, trying to cling for dear life in the bouncing 12-ft swell and winds - don't worry, I'm still smiling!

Candy, our oceanographer, in her lab (that doubles as the bathroom - toilet just to her left...). As I said, it's a tight ship, and definitely not designed for scientific research cruises...Oh well!

Corey, one of the crew, with yet another fresh fish of the day!

Ed, the cook, who specializes in really good healthy hawaiian style food - perfect!

Hanging out in the air-conditioned galley - L-R - Ed, Bob (engineer), Richard, Greg the cheif scientist, JC, Cornelia and me) all watching our nightly movie!

Nalu, our cheerful hawaiian crew - he's always up for a party or helping you with anything on board.
